Once upon a fruit
Il était un fruit (« Once upon a fruit ») is a new range which is produced by Maison Roucadil since 2022.
Those are French apples and pears grown and dried in Lot et Garonne, for all occasions of the day: from breakfast to aperitif, you will fall for these fruits 100% natural, crispy and rich in taste!
All our fruits are grown in France and especially in the South West, and dried in the workshop of our Factory in Montayral without any oil.
We promote to farmers the declassified fruits from local productions, transforming them into delicious dried fruit petals, crunchy, without added sugars or any additives, and rich in fiber.

No added sugar
The taste is provided by the concentration of flavours during the gentle drying process. The petals contain naturally occurring sugars.
No additives
100% natural: No preservatives, colourings or additives.
No oils
Rich in fibre: gentle drying preserves the fibre in the fruit.
Committed production method
We use downgraded fruit with minor visual defects. On the other hand, we use varieties with intense flavour and ripe fruit to obtain products rich in flavour with nothing else to add!
